We are not currently looking, but we’re always open to opportunities to hire

Friendly, Knowledgeable, Highly-Skilled Performance Physical Therapists

If you would enjoy:

  • Spending a full hour, one-on-one with each of your patients (and only 6-8 patients/day, max!)

  • Drastically reduced paperwork requirements compared to the average in-network PT clinic

  • Having a pivotal role in a local Jacksonville business that helps people stay active and healthy

This could be the perfect position for you!

**This is a Part Time flexible position with opportunity to grow to fulltime.**

**You must be a Florida licensed physical therapist to apply.**

We are the premiere performance physical therapy clinic in Jacksonville, FL: Samson Strength & Performance PT.

Samson Strength & Performance PT is an outpatient physical therapy private practice specializing in CrossFit and Weightlifting Athletes. Our practice ensures that athletes and active adults can stay in the gym and active for life. We are passionate about providing the best-in-class physical therapy and connecting with our clients to foster relationships that last. Treating patients with our hands is a primary focus for our practice, but we never discount the importance of using exercise to complement our hands-on approach. We also provide ongoing wellness and maintenance services for clients which allows us to maintain relationships for years.

Clinically, we're looking for a stellar manual and performance physical therapist. Solid training in manual therapy is needed, but you must also have a passion for sports performance. CMTPT Dry Needling Certification is preferred, but willingness to become certified is all that is required. We would also prefer any kind of personal training or coaching experience and credentials, although none are required.

In this practice, the learning, training, and practicing will be more about customer experience and interactions than it is about clinical techniques. You will need to learn how to comfortably and confidently take prospective patients through discovery phone calls and workshops in a way that sells them on the incredible value of what you provide and gets them to say yes to investing in their health.

Some other things to help you decide if this position is a good fit for you:

  • This clinic’s population is quite diverse and evenly spread among gender and age up to 64. Plenty of weekend warriors, desk jockeys and middle-aged highly-driven people trying to stay active and fit. Our patients are amazing!

  • Due to the cash-pay business model and the fact that we don’t directly market to orthopedists, the clinic doesn’t see a lot of post-op rehab patients (nor is the clinic outfitted for much of that).

  • This position will be perfect for someone who has great manual skills and a compassionate, joyful outlook on life... Someone who is looking for an environment where high quality care and patient experience is truly the top priority (not just part of a mission statement).

  • We currently have a lot of flexibility in the schedule and could bring on someone needing just a few half-days all the way up to full time needs.

If all the above has made you excited about this job, here is a detailed "success description" outlining all the details of what being successful in this position will look like:

Success Description:
To be successful in this position, you will:

  • Listen and build report with clients through your genuine personality and smile J

  • Adopt a firm belief that we are not just here to help people when they get injured, but that we have the role of primary provider for musculoskeletal impairments and that we are our clients' lifelong guides to staying active and healthy.

  • Actively seek to understand what drives each of our patients, it's not pain that brought them to the clinic. It's an emotional attachment to an activity they need, want or love to do, that they are unable to do because of pain.

  • Care about your co-workers and take an interest in their lives and happiness.

  • Be willing to occasionally work on weekends to present seminars and workshops.

  • Be a physical representation of health, wellness, and fitness... how can we ask our patients to do things we're not willing to do ourselves?

  • Attend at least one community/athletic event each month to generate and deepen connections with attendees and referral sources.

  • Proactively think of things that could make a big difference to the way the business runs and our ability to help people.
